How the generator works
- 01Choose a type
Link, text, Wi-Fi, business card, phone, SMS, email or location.
- 02Add your data
Fill the required fields; the form validates formats as you type.
- 03Customize and download
Adjust style, colors and logo, test the code, then download it in the format you need.
What happens when you create a code?
The code is generated in your browser; no data is uploaded to a server. Link codes are created as trackable short links under qr12345.com/q for each code. Text, Wi-Fi, business card, phone, SMS, email and location codes store their data directly in the code and work offline.
Best results when printing and scanning
- Keep strong contrast between the code and its background, and avoid light colors.
- Never crop the white quiet zone around the code.
- Print the code at least 2 cm wide and scale it up with the scanning distance.
- Test the code with at least one phone camera before a large print run.
- If you add a logo, keep it centered and small enough not to cover alignment points.
Frequently asked questions
Is the generator free?
Yes. The tool is completely free and needs no account. Create unlimited codes and download them in the format you need.
Can I change the destination after printing?
A printed link code is fixed. If you need a new destination, create a new code and replace the printed one or print an updated copy.
What happens to the data I enter?
Text, card and Wi-Fi data are processed in your browser. Link codes alone are created as a short link on the site so scans can be tracked; you can always paste the link into a browser to test it before sharing.
Does the code work without internet?
Text, Wi-Fi, card and similar codes carry their data inside the code and scan offline. Link codes need a connection to open the destination, just like any link.
Which formats can I download?
High-quality PNG, JPG, SVG for design and print work, or PDF for direct printing.
